Q: Can I book a sports facility on line?

A: Thanks to the system renewal of the Iwakuni city effective Oct 1, 2020, you can now book, cancel and confirm the availability of some facilities on line.  

The facilities bookable on line are: Iwakuni Athletic Park, Iwakuni Municipal Ball Park,Nishimi Riverside Sports Ground, Yokoyama Riverside Sports Ground, Shin-minato Sports and Park Ground and Atago Sports Complex.

Confirmation of availability is allowed only for Kuga Ground, Kuga Athletic Center, Kuga General Park, Kuga Ai-Ai Center and Kuga Tennis Court.

User registration is a prerequisite for booking a facility on line. Please apply for registration at the reception counter of either Iwakuni Athletic Park or Atago Sports Complex. User registration is not needed for confirmation of availability.  Please call Sports Promotion Section at 29-5103 for any questions. 
 

Cost for vaccination by elderly against pneumococcus to be borne by GOJ

Eligible elderly must be inoculated within this fiscal year. They will be no longer eligible for the vaccination five years later.

Who’s eligible: Those who will turn 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95 and 100 in this fiscal 2020.
※ Those who have been inoculated already are no longer eligible. If you do not know of your inoculation history, please consult with your doctor.

Inoculation period: Through March 31 (Wed)
