Landslide Disaster Special Alert Areas can be confirmed

 You can confirm landslide disaster high risk areas and special landslide disaster high risk areas on the portal site of Yamaguchi Prefecture’s landslide disaster＜外部リンク＞　and at the counter of Iwakuni Civil Engineering and Construction Office, and River Section.
 Permissions are required for specific development activities within the special landslide disaster high risk areas. Construction of new building or expansion/reform of a building are subject to structural restrictions. In addition, there are support measures in renovation and relocation of buildings.

Let’s Record your Time at Track Meet in 55 Field

Who can participate:　
(1) 50-metre dash=anyone
(2)100-metre dash＝3rd grader or older

Date and time: Aug 4 (Sun), 13:00-17:00 (reception starts at 12:30)
※ Canceled in case of rain

Venue: 55 Field, Atago Sports Complex

Content: Participants run on an all-weather blue urethane covered official running track and the precise time is recorded by using the photo-finish camera
※ A certified official judge of Japan Association of Athletics Federations clocks the time and issues the certificate.

Fee: 200 yen/ per run (to be paid on the same day)

What to bring: Drink, towel, and other items to beat the heat ( such as cap, cooling sheet, etc.)

Look out for Water Accident

 Please pay attention to the following for the prevention of tragic water accidents.

○ Playing in the water by children alone is dangerous. Do not let them go to pool or beach unaccompanied by parents.

○When going to ocean, bring at least one people with you and try to have fun with your family members or friends and be safe. 

○ Stay away from swollen rivers or reservoirs.

○ When you see someone drowning, yell out loud to let the people around know about it and call 110 (Police) or 119 (Fire department) immediately.

“Chura Oto” Piano Concert by Arasaki Narumi

 Based in Okinawa, Arasaki tours both inside and outside of Japan to present a number of Okinawa related music with her piano.
