Spring National Traffic Safety Campaign

Period: May 11 (Sat)-20 (Mon)

Objectives:
○ Safeguarding of passage for children and elderly and prevention of traffic accident involving aged drivers.
○ Promotion of safety use of bicycle.
○ Strict enforcement of proper wearing of seatbelts of all the seats and child seat.
○ Eradication of Drunk Driving
○ Promotion of speed-down
○ Promotion of utilization of reflectors and high-beam

Vendors at the Iwakuni Friendship Flea Market

We are taking applications to participate in the Iwakuni Friendship Flea Market. The residents from USMC Iwakuni and Iwakuni citizens interact through buying and selling.

Date and time: June 30 (Sun), 10:00 -15:00　(The loading time will be notified later)

Place: Culture Center, Atago Sports Complex

Number of Vendors wanted:
○ Goods sales booth=60 booths (one compartment: 3 m x 3 m in the arena)
○ Foods sales booth=6 booths (one compartment: 2 m x 2 m in the lobby of the Culture Center. Cooking is prohibited.)
○ Kitchen Car=10 vehicles
＊Mass retailers are not allowed.
＊Some items may not be accepted to be sold.　You must have permission from the Health Center for selling foods and drinks.

Registration Fee:
○ Goods sales booth=3,000 yen
○ Foods sales booth=3,000 yen
○ Kitchen Car=3,500 yen
Recruitment Period= May 7 (Tue) 10:00 ~ May 17 (Fri) 12:00

The 43rd Japan vs. USA Baseball Collegiate All-Star Series in Iwakuni

Date and time: July 18 (Thu), Game starts 18:00

Place: Kizuna Stadium, Atago Sports Complex

Admission Fee (Advance purchase): Infield seat 800 yen, Back net infield seat 1,300 yen

＊Extra 200 yen for walk-up tickets.
＊Extra 1,500 yen for the advance purchase admission fee with the Samurai Japan Uniform

Ticket sale: Starts from May 11 (Sat), 10 am-
Sales places: Store terminal of a convenience store (Seven-Eleven, Lawson, Family Mart) or at a counter of Culture Center, Atago Sports Complex.
＊Free admission fee only for infield seats for Junior high school students and below.
＊Wheelchair seats tickets are available only at the Culture Center, Atago Sports Complex.
